The Chapel On The Ship, Friday Afternoon

Okay, so there had been a bit of drinking, last night. A little. More than a little. A fair bit. A lot.

Reno and Rikku were totally smashed. Which had led to wacky goings on and terrible fashion choices in a completely handwavey manner involving a horrid Hawaiian shirt, even worse shorts, and one of those hideous fish-ties.

There just so happened to be a chapel on the boat. And, in their particular states of inebriated stupidity and horrible misdress, there had been a revelation...

Weddings totally didn't count if you used fake names, right?

And heck, even if they did, they were drunk enough that it seemed like a very good, very hilarious idea, at the time.

[Open chapel is TOTALLY OPEN. Because... Yes. It must be.]

Dōjima was on her way back to her room to change for tonight's fun when she passed the chapel, absently noting that someone seemed to be having a party.

She was halfway around the corner before she realized she had recognized most of the participants, and backtracked to go in and look around in undisguised horror.

"Tell me they didn't?" she asked helplessly. "I'm hallucinating from too much sun?"

Annja shook her head, her eyes full of laughter. "They did but... I wouldn't worry too much."

"I'm not worried," she protested, still looking slightly shocked. "I don't think weddings here are legally binding in Spira and Gaia, but tell me someone has pictures, because I have a buyer."

"Sound and image?" The grin that broke out across Dōjima's face didn't bode well for the newlyweds. "I might have two buyers, if I play this right."

"Doooooooooooooooooooooooooj'ma!" Rikku called, waving both arms at the other blonde girl. "Guess what? You'll ... you're n'ver gonna guess what!"

Clearly, Rikku's news would be a complete surprise.

Dōjima crossed her arms and regarded the other blonde bemusedly. "Hrm. Did you cut your hair? It looks cute."

"Nope!" Rikku chirped, reaching her hands up to fumble with her hairdo. Oh, hey! Her hair was still on and everything. Good, good. "We gots married. But s'not for real. Is just a joooooooooke. Izznat awesome?"

They certainly had pulled one over on ... the ... they'd taught a lesson to ... look, it was just funny because.

"You got married as a joke? You couldn't find anything else to do, like go swimming or something?" she asked, trying to hold back the giggles. "Rikku... how much have you had to drink?"

"Lots," Rikku said proudly, striking a pose. "We din't give 'em our real names. An' we pretended we were other people. So it doesn't count! 'Sa joke! Izznat neeeeeeeat?"

She triumphantly flashed her insanely WTF ring. "Y'should see Reno's? I mean, Sven's. His ring's got tires."
