The Chapel On The Ship, Friday Afternoon

Okay, so there had been a bit of drinking, last night. A little. More than a little. A fair bit. A lot.

Reno and Rikku were totally smashed. Which had led to wacky goings on and terrible fashion choices ~~in a completely handwavey manner~~ involving a horrid Hawaiian shirt, even worse shorts, and one of those hideous fish-ties.

There just so happened to be a chapel on the boat. And, in their particular states of inebriated stupidity and horrible misdress, there had been a revelation...

Weddings totally didn't count if you used fake names, right?

And heck, even if they did, they were drunk enough that it seemed like a very good, very hilarious idea, at the time.

[Open chapel is TOTALLY OPEN. Because... Yes. It must be.]

Annja was here because this was the funniest thing she had ever seen. She had a little digital voice recorder, too.

"Can you believe this?" said Hoshi with a smirk. "It's like there's something in the water. Oh, wait! They probably weren't drinking water."

Annja laughed. "How many people from school getting drunk and married does this make now?" Se grinned. "So many memories to be made for posterity."

"I think this is the second couple, though I haven't been playing too much attention to the radio on this trip," said Hoshi. "Of course, I'm guessing most of this isn't legal."

Annja shook her head. "I think you have to be eighteen and sober enough to sign your name," she agreed.

"Oh, darn, then I probably don't qualify," laughed Hoshi. "Unless I come up with a really good fake ID, which isn't that hard for this time period."

Annja tried really hard not to laugh.... and tried even harder not to get an idea that was full of mischief and trouble.

"It would be wrong for us to create fake IDs and sell them to our drunken classmates just to see how many of said drunken students used them to get married."

She really couldn't believe she actually thought of such a thing.

Damn it. Roux would be so proud.

But she figured Hoshi was sensible and would talk her out of said bad bad horribly funny idea.

It was spring break, and Hoshi wasn't really feeling too sensible.

"That's a great idea! We could hang around outside the chapel and sell them when we spot drunk couples," said Hoshi, grinning.

Annja's grin got wider as the small voice telling her this was bad started fading away.

"And we have to record it, to," she added, already planning.

"Of course people are going to want pictures from their weddings!" squealed Hoshi. "We'd be doing them a favor."

Annja bounced in her seat a little in excitement. "We really would. Providing a needed service on their special day."

"Not to mention blackmail photos, or if they need evidence that they were impaired when they try to file for an annulment," added Hoshi.

"That's a very good point as they will need all of the help that they can get when it comes to that," Annja grinned. "We should go ashore and gets some stuff before the boat pulls out this evening."

"Good idea," said Hoshi, nodding.

Annja grinned. "This is going to be great."
