Chocobo Lure Materia? Check.

Sylkis Greens? Friggin' expensive, but yes, Check.

Weapons? Reno gave his baton a tap against his shoulder, checked his Materia over, and smirked. Check.

Worm-skinned dude from Arrakis? Yep, Reno had that, too.

"So, the trick is, we follow the tracks," he informed Leto, looking down to make sure he didn't miss any as they walked. "An' then we hunt around for monsters when we find 'em. Chocobos love hangin' around monsters, yo."

Somebody had asked for Chocobos, and Reno planned to deliver.

"Hey, not half bad," Reno mused, sauntering over and pulling out more greens, offering them to the chocobo. "He's a good catch, if I do say so myself, yo."

The chocobo puzzled over how there came to be a person on his back before deciding that maybe the best course of action just then would be to eat the offered greens.

"I mean, for a yellow one."

"For a yellow one?" Leto asked, stroking the bird's neck to calm it, although the food seemed to to a better job with that.

"Oh, yeah." Reno chuckled a bit as the bird nudged his shoulder with his beak, looking for more greens. "The real breeders here on Gaia can do some crazy things with birds from around the world and certain kinds of food. Breed 'em off in all sorts of colors, yo. Black, blue, green, gold. Now, those are some damn fine birds, the gold ones. Hard as hell to get your hands on, though."

Leto knew a thing or two about breeding. Not chocobos necessarily, but the principles were the same, no doubt.

"I suppose bringing different types of birds back to Arrakis would offer me the best options when it comes to breeding them myself."

He slipped off the back of the bird, assuming Reno knew how to make sure how to stop it to run off.
