Room 429, Friday Afternoon

After class, Reno headed back to his room. His nice, quiet room. To play with his ferret. Because this Parents Weekend thing was for the birds, and he didn't keep birds. Or have parents. So he figured he was pleasantly safe.

[Room thing part, totally open, la.]

Reno's phone was ringing.

If Reno didn't answer -- he was the boss, and it was a Friday afternoon -- then they would simply have to track him down.

Tseng was, perhaps, very amused with himself, yes.

"Reno," Tseng said. His smile was audible. "Are you ... busy?"

"Really?" Tseng mused. "I was under the impression that your ... school had some sort of an event scheduled."

"The brochure said that anyone could come," Tseng said cheerily. "It wasn't restricted to parents. It was very clear on that point."

"I have just checked in to the Arms Hotel," Tseng said, sitting down on the bed and looking around. "Room 203. It has a lovely view of this town, though it's not quite high enough for it to be 'scenic.'"

"I was invited," Tseng said. He was possibly enjoying himself a great deal. "By that brochure. I felt I should like a vacation. Rude agreed."

That should get Reno's attention.

"That information is classified," Tseng said. Oh, being the Boss was the best. "I cannot divulge the identity of any person who may or may not be in room 202. Which means if you do not come and greet me, you may never know."

There was a long pause.

"Is that your ferret?" Tseng asked.

Being the Boss meant you asked the strangest questions.

"Room two-zero-three," Tseng repeated, unnecessarily. Turks did not need information repeated. "Unless I am across the hall chatting with the inhabitant of two-zero-two. Should there be one. I shall have to find out."

And with that, he hung up.
