Room 429, Saturday Evening

So, today had been a long day. Between his best buddy getting shot by some fancy-talking twit on the beach, and the annoying hex that had been placed on him by that nasty, nasty old chick during his and Doji's Sex Ed presentation, Reno was more than just a little ready to curl up on a chair by the window, staring out over the island.

Quietly. Very quietly. The laughing fits had subsided, fortunately, but he was still annoyingly mute.

At least the chittering of the ferret involved sound. When Reno wasn't in A Mood, he'd have to give Mako extra treats or something for helping him preserve his sanity.

[For one person in particular, but open for interaction before she shows up if you don't mind a somewhat one-sided conversation.]

The way they were making little comments to each other between kisses -- either they were close (possibly a couple, possibly just friends in this for the money) or they were really good actresses, and Rikku didn't figure they cast for that sort of thing.

"I was gonna say you got quiet," she said, "but then I remembered you kinda have to be."

She sighed. "I wish I looked all ... fierce like that. Lulu does. I kinda just look perky."

Reno... Really didn't wish she looked anything different, at all. She just wouldn't be Rikku if she was all fierce, or whatever.

He shook her head and put a finger under her chin. Hey there. Heeey.

Now he wasn't paying attention to the movie at all. Now he was kissing Rikku, who was perfect, dammit, as though she was the air itself and he'd been holding his breath far too long.

He liked perky. He liked perky a lot.

Oh. Okay. That was. .... That was very reassuring, especially the bit where he seemed more into kissing her and not so worried about missing the video. He had nice lips. And his tongue. And they could just settle in here for a minute, couldn't they?

When she stopped for air she glanced over at the screen and giggled. "They're beating us," she murmured. "She's already trying to get her top off."

Reno blinked. And then Reno grinned. Screw the laughing-soreness, anyhow. And the being a mime. And all of that.

He had to catch up!

Pounce!

Oh. And Rikku was pounced. And working on Reno's buttons. Namely, pulling his shirt until they popped.

It just sounded hot, okay?

"Missing the movie," she murmured, nipping at his lips and grinning.

He had to grin back. Grin, and bite at her chin, and laugh another laugh that was purely his own as he reached out one hand blindly, feeling for his laptop, and then he closed it.

Movie? What movie? There was perfectly good hotness going on right here.

He demonstrated, of course, by pressing her down by her shoulders into the bed and kissing her until he was dizzy for want of air.

She wasn't dizzy just yet -- over ten minutes, not too shabby! -- or at least, she wasn't dizzy because of air.

"Awww, no more movie?" she giggled. "It was hot."

She emphasized by wriggling under him and tugging on the hem of her shirt.
