Room 429, Sunday Afternoon
Okay. Sunday afternoons were officially boring. The days of the week had classes and radio and reports to write for his job, and mornings and evenings meant that the ferret was awake and totally willing to be harassed, but Sunday afternoons?
Reno would like to vote that boring, lazy Sunday afternoons be stricken from the record.
He was in his room, sitting by the window and playing with his lighter. Fire go on. Fire blow out. Ooh. Exciting.
The door was open slightly in case something interesting happened to wander through the hallway, at least.
[Open, like the door~]

"And if you really think so, Doji, then you got no idea how good at my job I am, yoto."
Second-in-command of the Turks for a reason. They weren't ShinRa's underground elite for nothing, of course. While the slouch and the attitude weren't entirely a cover, they were a damn good start at one regardless.
Really, he'd be dead with the rest, otherwise.

"And I really don't want Rikku to kill me."

"It'd be like bangin' a sister or somethin'," he announced. "We ain't even gonna go there."
And also, he really didn't want Rikku to kill her. Too messy.

It was his nurturing, overprotective side, certainly.

A shrug.
"I can't hold nothin' against you. I got too damn much on my own head to hang anything over yours, zoto."

"Still," this time the smile was a little less lost and a bit more 'Doji' again. "Thanks, Reno."
"Although this doesn't mean I'm gonna hold still if you do decide to chuck a book at me," she called as she meandered to the door, tequila and duct tape held securely. "I'm not that type of girl."
